Water Marina

The operation aimed at “Creating a new tourism infrastructure facility – a water marina in Ublik on Lake Buwełno and making it available on a non-commercial basis to tourists and the local community” is co-financed by the European Union under the measure “Support for local development within the LEADER initiative” of the Rural Development Programme for 2014–2020.

The project involved the construction of a publicly accessible marina in the village of Ublik on Lake Buwełno by a company specializing in pier construction. The operation was carried out on plot no. 77/2 on Lake Buwełno, Ublik precinct, Orzysz municipality, at the height of plot 1/3, Ublik precinct, Orzysz municipality, Pisz County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship.

The marina serves recreational and leisure needs. The objective of the operation – developing infrastructure to meet the needs of the local community and tourists – has been achieved through the construction of the marina and making it available to all users, especially during the spring and summer season.


RULES FOR USING THE PUBLIC FLOATING PIER

The floating pier is the property of Paweł Kaczmarek and is located on Lake Buwełno at the height of the property Ublik 17.

All persons on the pier must familiarize themselves with these rules and comply with them.

Users of the pier and persons damaging its equipment bear full financial responsibility for any damage caused. In the case of minors, responsibility lies with their parents or legal guardians.

It is prohibited to bring containers with pressurized gases, corrosive substances, and to litter or dirty the pier area.

It is prohibited to enter the pier with bicycles, mopeds, motorcycles, quad bikes, as well as to use roller skates or skateboards.

The consumption and possession of alcohol or other intoxicating substances on the pier are strictly prohibited.

Persons under the influence of alcohol or other intoxicating substances are not allowed to use the pier.

It is prohibited to swim under the structure of the pier.

Children under 12 years of age may only stay on the pier under the supervision of parents or an adult guardian.


The following are strictly prohibited:

  • jumping from the pier into the water
  • running on the pier
  • disturbing public order
  • polluting the water, the pier, or its surroundings
  • throwing any objects into the water
  • smoking or using open flames on the pier
  • bringing substances that may contaminate the pier
  • interfering with the structure of the pier

Fishing from the pier is allowed but must not restrict other users. Anglers are not granted any special privileges on the pier.

Persons violating public order or these regulations will be removed from the pier.

The owner of the pier is not responsible for accidents or incidents resulting from failure to comply with these rules.
